This Weekend 9/27
This weekend I did a Instructor Training Seminar for four hours on Saturday. Then on Sunday I went to church then went and played paintball with some friends around 3:00 until night fall. Then went home and typed up my analysis essay rough draft.

Today 9/24
Today was kind of crazy because I had to get up and go to the karate school and do an hours worth workout with a couple of people then had to run straight over to class this morning only to find that we were just going to stand outside the classroom for an extra fifteen minutes or so. I am sitting in class right now trying to figure out what we are exactly supposed to do. I am confused.

The Weekend Returns
This weekend I had a work day of sorts because I had to go saturday to cut my grass for my grandmother, who is planning on moving into my father's old house. So that took all day basically. Sunday was my lazy day though because I was able to sleep in and go to church then the rest of the day was free.

Foot to Face: Taste of a Pinkie Toe
We beat the mess out of Zane…it was one of the best days that I have experienced. The day was a Saturday, just an ordinary Saturday, the time was about one o’clock in the afternoon. Work had just ended, all of the students and parents had left, the boss had went home and had given us permission to stay and work on our material if we wanted. With this newly allotted freedom to be left alone unsupervised at the martial arts studio, a group of about four had agreed to stay and work on the lessons of the day, or at least that is what we had said but did not plan on doing.
A few moments after everyone was gone the four of us did work a little on some of the advanced techniques for about five minutes, just in case someone happen to come back for something, so we waited a while and then the fun began.
We began by doing a tag team jiu-jitsu match, which is a form of grappling mixed with wrestling for those who don’t know what jiu-jitsu is. We grappled for about an hour straight and then we all ganged up on Zane. We each alternated who would grapple him and made a contest to see who could make him submit in the fastest time. Once the fun of grappling had passed, we moved to another adventure.
Andy made the notion of sparring but the others really did not want to just spar, so Jonathan stated that he wanted to spar with our weapons and we all agreed. Everyone ran to grab their gear and their favorite weapon. When everyone was prepared it was an all out battle (the weapons were padded by the way). It was every man for him self. This went on for another hour and a half. Then, naturally, we all went after Zane again and beat on him for about fifteen minutes.

A Relaxing Weekend
This past weekend not much really went down. I basically just chilled out on saturday morning and then went over to a friends house to play some games and listen to music.
Sunday I went swimming with some buddys and then we all went to the movie theatre to see Bangkok Dangerous.

Life
Let me ask you,
Do you feel that Life has a reason?
Do you believe that Life is worth it?
Or
Do you ask yourself is this all there is to Life?
Or
Do you just dream of a better Life?
What Life Do you have?

Labor Day Weekend
This Labor Day Weekend was good for me. I got up early Friday morning and met my instructor and some of the other helpers that were going to ride with us to Panama City, Florida. We all got our things in the car and left around 8:00 a.m. It was a nice ride down, we all talked about several things, listend to music, told jokes, and just had an all around good time. When we finally made it to the Edgewater Beach Resort where we were staying we checked into our room unpacked and just relaxed for a few hours, and then the fun started.
Around 5:30 p.m we all got our uniforms on and headed down to where the tournament was to take place because we were going to do a training/tournament preparation seminar with some of the Masters. When we arrived we walked around to check things out then met up with some of the other students that were going to be there for the tournament. We lined up and bowed in and jumped right into the training. We got to train with 9th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster Soon Ho Lee, Chief Masters M.K. Lee and G.K. Lee who are both 8th Degree Black Belts, and Senior Master Drouge who I belive is a 7th Degree Black Belt who actually owns a couple of schools in the Atlanta area and who was also the person who hosted the last tournament I went to in Atlanta in July.
After that we all got together and went back to the room just to chill for the rest of the night before having to get up around 6:00 in the morning to go to the tournament.
The next day all of the Black Belts were expected to be at the tournament site for a mandatory meeting for judging assignments at 7:30 that morning.
The tournament it self started at 9:30 a.m and lasted until about 5:00 that afternoon. As soon as opening ceremonies was completed I was called to compete. I had about 8 to 10 people in my ring. I was upset at having to be one of the first rings to compete because I missed being able to see both of my instructors compete.
It was worth it though because I was able to come out in 1st place in three of my events: forms, weapons, and sparring. Now because I placed 1st at this tournament now I get even more points towards receiving State Champion in my division.
Once my ring was over I went around and tried to find all of my students that were competing and tried to give them encouragement.
Then once the tournament was over all of the instructors got together at a local arcade to just hangout and play some pool and bowl a few games. Then we headed back to the room and went swimming at the hotel pool until about 12:00 that night. Afterward we went up to the room and played a few hands of poker.
The following day we spent most of it out on the beach and in the ocean. Then right back into the pool when it got too late to be on the beach.
One of the days it was supposed to get really bad weather so we were not allowed to be in the ocean or in the pool so to help pass some time we recorded some of the instructors throwing a football from the 10th floor of the resort where the room was all the way to another one of the instructors that was down at the beach which was a good 200 yards from the balcony.
The next day we checked out and headed back home and had another good time on the way.
So...that was my Labor Day Weekend....give alittle that was done that wasnt said or probably best unsaid just for fun....leave it to the imagination to fill in some gaps
